Brief summary of lessons

    Occupational safety is a system for ensuring the safety of life and health of employees in the course of their work, including legal, socio-economic, organizational, technical, psycho-physiological, sanitary and hygienic, medical and preventive, rehabilitation and other measures and means.

The source of labor protection regulation is a system of normative and legal acts that contain fundamental provisions for ensuring the safety of life and health of workers in the course of work. The types of normative, legal acts included in this system are named in Article 2 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of January 10, 2000.

The basis for organizing work on labor protection is the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.

Occupational safety is a state of working conditions in which the impact on workers of harmful and dangerous production factors is excluded.

Harmful production factors - factors, the impact of which on a worker under certain conditions can lead to illness, decreased performance and  negative impact on the health of offspring.

A hazardous production factor is a production factor, the impact of which, under certain conditions, leads to injury or other sudden, sharp deterioration in health, death.

Training, briefing and checking the knowledge of employees on labor protection issues are an important element in preventing accidents and injuries at work, ensuring the constitutional right of citizens to health and safe working conditions, and are of an uninterrupted multi-level nature.

Introductory briefing - are managers and specialists hired. It is carried out according to the program approved by the head of the organization.

Primary briefing - at the workplace before the start of work is carried out with specialists hired in accordance with established labor legislation. It is carried out individually at the workplace with a practical demonstration of safe working conditions and methods.

Re-briefing - is carried out with persons working in the organization and accepted for work, at least once every six months.

Unscheduled briefing - carried out individually or with a group of people working in the same profession.

Targeted briefing is carried out when performing one-time work that is not related to direct duties in the specialty.

Means of protection are classified:

  • on the means of protection of the worker, designed to prevent or reduce the impact on the worker of dangerous or harmful production factors;

  • PPE worn on the human body or parts thereof;

  • means of collective protection associated with production equipment, premises.

Medical examinations are necessary to ensure safe working conditions and prevent occupational formations. Preliminary medical examinations are carried out  upon admission of citizens to work, and periodic - during labor activity  hired worker.

Investigation of an accident at work must be carried out within a period of not more than three days.

Electrical safety and fire safety in the premises of the hairdressing salon:

  • Electrical equipment, electrical equipment, power tools.

  • Fire prevention rules.

  • Industrial Safety Rules.

Program topic: Labor protection

Theme of the lesson: LPZ No. 1 "Drafting instructions for labor protection in the salon - hairdressing salon."

  Purpose: to learn how to write instructions for labor protection in the salon -

                 hairdresser, to study the basic concepts of labor protection.

Tasks:

1. Answer the test questions on the topic "Labor protection".

2. Draw up instructions for labor protection in the salon - hairdresser:

Option 1 - industrial safety rules;

Option 2 - rules for fire prevention measures;

Option 3 - rules for using power tools, electrical equipment
