The preparation of the teaching aid was the result of many years of systematic work on didactic support for the subjects of the subject "Technology of hairdressing". The manual is intended for students studying in the specialty "Hairdressing and decorative cosmetics" by profession "hairdresser". The sections presented in the content correspond to the qualification characteristics and sections of the program in the subject "Technology of hairdressing work" (the exception is the section "History of the development of hairdressing art", because in the program it is given very briefly and overview). The content contains a list of legal documents regulating the functioning of hairdressing salons and work in them, as well as numerous diagrams and tables with comments on use.

The educational material on the subject "Technology of hairdressing works" is systematized in the form of diagrams and tables, which allows you to perceive the information of the educational material concisely and more accessible. Didactic material can be used at all stages of training in the subject "Technology of hairdressing work" in explaining, consolidating, organizing independent work and monitoring educational material.

The material of the sections of the manual can be used by craftsmen when conducting industrial training lessons in the conditions of a training workshop in the formation of the initial skills and abilities of working methods and operations. The sections present the issues of labor protection in accordance with the rules of sanitary standards, the requirements for working tools, the rules for servicing visitors, the technology for performing the main types of work.
