He studied at the University of Krakow, where he received a bachelor's degree in philosophy. He received a doctorate in medicine from the University of Padua (Italy). He traveled around Europe, gained pan-European fame. In Prague, he created the first Belarusian publishing house in history. There he published 23 books of the Bible in his native language. In Vilna, he created a new publishing house. The last book he published was The Apostle.
